We love hot warming winter soup. However – I don’t know what about you – but for my part, I am really excited to find new fresh products on parisian markets and say hello to garden parties.
Fresh Spring rolls are a refreshing change from the usual fried variety. They are great as an appetizer, sliced for canapés or even as a desert.
There are delicious dipped in a sauce.
Be imaginative ! You can try a large variety of ingredients to fill you own rolls. The only advise is to keep it fresh.

Spring Rolls Recipe
Rice wrappers (8.5 inch diameter)
Sauce : Soy sauce, coulis …
Traditional Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls : vermicelli, salad, mint, carrots, soya bean, prawns, finely chopped peanuts
Savory suggestions : smoked salmon, stir-fried beef, cucumber, philadelphia, artichoke cream, confit tomatoes, goat’s cheese, coriander, …
Sweet suggestions : banana, strawberry, ananas, mango, kiwi, vanilla pastry cream, white chocolate cream filling, caramel, mint …
- Prepare all your ingredients on the table
- Fill a large bowl with warm water. Dip one and a half wrapper into the hot water for few seconds to soften. Lay wrapper flat and add a half in the center. Place your ingredients in a row across the center. Fold uncovered sides inward, then tightly roll the wrapper.
- Optional : Roll in Cling-film and cool in the fridge
- Serve rolled spring rolls with the soy sauce or fruit puree as sweet option.
