Jean-Marie Fléchet, enologist, brother Laurent and Thomas Chapus have opened last summer a casual and cozy spot in the heart of Châtelet-Les-Halles. Dozens of reviews later in every significant eating guide to Paris, the place becomes a busy bobo’s (bourgeois bohemians) hotspot that serves classic and good food in an uncluttered atmosphere.
A daily lunch for 15€ (starter and main course) makes the place affordable for a family or business lunch. Today was crispy eggs and potimarron velouté and a cod loin. We couldn’t resist a dessert and shared mandarin pie and vervein ice cream (a bit disappointing). Great wine choice.
Book in advance to get a table downstairs much brighter and more enjoyable than the upstair room.
